Turning dilapidated rooms into a place of learning
In Chiteve we renovated classrooms, built new toilets and provided school materials so that children in rural areas can learn in real classrooms.
Wald schafft Zukunft – Sambia e.V.
We believe in a world in which every child has the chance to learn, to dream and to live a self-determined life.
We stand for humanity, education and sustainability. Education is the key to a self-determined life and forms the foundation for a better future.
For many children in Zambia this is everyday life. We build the places where learning becomes possible: schools, sanitary facilities, gardens, learning materials.
Despite dust, sun and heat – the will to learn remains. Many children in Zambia have no access to schools or learn under difficult conditions. Yet a well-educated population is the foundation for economic growth, social development and social cohesion. That is why we strengthen schools in Zambia and create child-friendly, safe and dignified learning conditions – so that children and adults alike can improve their living conditions sustainably and under their own steam.
We renovate schools and sanitary facilities, provide schoolbooks, learning materials and desks, support school gardens and environmental education – and thus give children the opportunity to learn in dignity and to shape their own future.
Support us directly
We work on a voluntary basis and are funded by donations. We use your support where it is needed – in Zambia, for schools, sanitary facilities, teaching materials and environmental education.
